Service 2: DEBT REVIEW REMOVAL (D4 STATUS)

Important Information

Our Commitment

We pride ourselves on being your partner in financial recovery. Our goal is to help you regain control of your finances and rebuild your credit profile. Throughout this process, your cooperation and adherence to our guidelines are crucial.

Ongoing Payments

It is imperative that you continue making timely payments to your credit providers throughout this period. This will help maintain your good standing with them and ensure that all outstanding debts are paid in full. Regular payments contribute significantly to your credit recovery.

Requesting Paid Up Letters

Once all your accounts are settled, you may request a paid-up letter from our company or directly from the credit providers. This letter serves as proof that your debts have been paid in full and is a key requirement for the next steps in this process.

Updating the NCR

After obtaining your paid-up letters, we will update the National Credit Regulator (NCR) to officially remove you from debt review status. This is a significant milestone in your credit recovery journey.

Commissioned Clearance Certificate

We will issue a commissioned clearance certificate upon successfully updating the NCR. This certificate will enable you to apply for new credit and begin rebuilding your credit profile, opening doors to future financial opportunities.

Updating Major Credit Bureaus

In addition to the NCR update, we will notify the four major credit bureaus—XDS, TransUnion, VeriCred, and Experian—that you have exited debt review. This step is vital for ensuring your credit history reflects your current status.

Important Guidelines:

Avoid Credit Applications

During the entire process, we strongly advise against conducting any credit checks or applying for any type of credit. Doing so could adversely affect our services and slow down your recovery. It’s best to focus on maintaining compliance with your existing obligations.

Communication is Key

We value open communication and are here to address any questions or concerns you may have. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our team for assistance. Your success is our priority, and we want to ensure you feel supported throughout this journey.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your services. Please note the following important details regarding cancellations:

- Cancellation Notice: Cancellations must be provided in writing and emailed to queries@erasedebtsa.co.za at least 10 working days before the Debicheck tracking date or debit date.

- Refunds: If we debit any amount from your account, please be informed that no refunds will be provided. However, we can cancel all future debits and your process.

- Non-refundable Fees: You are obligated to pay our non-refundable admin, application, and assessment fee of R2300.00 including VAT.

We appreciate your understanding of these policies as they allow us to continue providing you with the best service possible.

Steps for Success

2. Request Paid Up Letters: After settling all debts, contact us or your credit providers for the necessary letters.

SERVICE 3: D4 ITC – COMPREHENSIVE 4IN1 CREDIT REPORT

Dear Valued Client,

Welcome to Erase Debt SA! We are thrilled to have you join us as you embark on your credit recovery journey. Our mission is to support and guide you through the process of regaining control over your finances and improving your credit profile. We appreciate your trust in us and are committed to making this experience as smooth and successful as possible.

Important Information and Guidelines

Our Commitment to You:

At Erase Debt SA, we believe that knowledge is power. To facilitate your credit recovery, we will begin by obtaining a comprehensive 4in1 credit report. This detailed report will illustrate the current status of your credit profile, including outstanding debts, payment history, and any other relevant factors affecting your credit score. Understanding these elements is crucial for you to take informed steps towards your financial recovery.

Understanding the Service Process

1. Obtaining Your Credit Report: Our team will secure a detailed 4in1 credit report that encompasses information from multiple credit bureaus. This report serves as the foundation for your tailored action plan.

2. Assessment of Your Credit Profile: We will analyse the information presented in the report, identifying any areas of concern and outlining the necessary steps you need to take in order to successfully remove yourself from debt review status.

3. Action Plan Development: Based on the credit report analysis, we will work with you to develop a comprehensive action plan, focusing on clearing any outstanding debts to facilitate your exit from debt review.

Important Reminders

We kindly ask you to refrain from conducting any credit checks or applying for any new credit during this entire process. Engaging in these activities may adversely affect our services and impede your progress in recovering your credit profile. Focus on maintaining your existing obligations and ensuring timely payments where applicable.

Steps to Successful Credit Recovery

1. Stay Informed: Regularly check in with us for updates regarding your credit report and the action plan we create together.

2. Timely Payments: Ensure that any outstanding debts are addressed and paid on time according to the recommendations provided. This diligence is essential in maintaining or enhancing your credit standing.

3. Open Communication: We value our partnership and encourage you to reach out to us anytime you have questions or concerns. Our team is here to support you and provide guidance throughout this journey.

Terms of Service

It is essential to understand the terms of service that govern our engagement during this recovery process. When a client is placed in D4 status, the primary condition for removal involves settling all accounts in full. This enables the debt counsellor to issue a clearance certificate, which is a pivotal document required for updating your credit status.

Furthermore, the comprehensive credit check will reveal all listings, account balances, paid-up accounts, prescribed accounts, and any paid-up judgments or paid-up admin orders. This vital information will enable us to advise you on the necessary steps to take next with your credit profile. Please be advised that this service focuses on analysing your credit profile to provide guidance and does not include removing you from debt review.

Conclusion

In closing, we want to assure you that you are not alone on this path. Erase Debt SA is here to assist you in every way possible as you work towards financial recovery. Your commitment to this process is vital, and together, we will strive to restore your financial health.

Thank you for choosing Erase Debt SA as your trusted partner. We look forward to collaborating with you and celebrating your successes along the way!

Please take the time to review the following important information carefully, as it will guide you through the process.

Our Commitment to You

At Erase Debt SA, we understand that the path to financial recovery can be challenging. Our team of experts is here to assist you every step of the way. We aim to provide a transparent and efficient service that addresses your specific needs.

Key Services We Offer:

- Comprehensive Credit Assessments: We will conduct an in-depth analysis of your credit profile through our 4-in-1 comprehensive credit check with the four major credit bureaus in South Africa. This will help us identify any negative listings that may be impacting your creditworthiness.

- Contacting Creditors: We will verify any problems with prescribed debts to ensure that your situation is accurately represented.

- Verification of Judgments: We will check with creditors to see if any admin orders or judgments have been paid off for removal.

- Removal of Expired Enquiries: We’ll help remove any enquiries on your profile that are over 12 months old.

- Correction of Inaccurate Information: Our team will investigate and correct any outdated or inaccurate information on your credit profile.

Terms of Service

To ensure the optimal outcome of our assistance, we kindly ask that you refrain from communicating with your current debt counsellor. Such interactions may hinder our efforts and could result in a change of your status from A to C. Should this occur, additional fees related to the status change may apply.

Our services to assess your negative credit listing will begin once we have received full payment. At that point, we will request a transfer from your current debt counsellor and proceed with an affordability assessment to evaluate your financial standing. If it is determined that you are not over-indebted, your status will be updated to B, and we will initiate an investigation into the factors impacting your credit profile.

As part of our process, we will contact your creditors to validate any prescribed debts, confirm the status of paid-up administration orders or judgments, and remove any expired inquiries listed for over 12 months. We will also review and correct any inaccurate or outdated information on your credit report. The removal of these negative items will help improve your credit score, thereby enhancing your ability to apply for credit.

Please note that current arrears, as well as any new or recent judgments, administration orders, or inquiries, cannot be removed from your credit profile.

Service Process

To ensure a smooth and effective service experience, please follow these important steps:

1. Refrain from Communication with Your Current Debt Counsellor:

From this point forward, please do not communicate with your current debt counsellor. Interacting with them could negatively impact the assistance we are providing. Specifically, any communication could potentially change your status from "A" to "C." If this status change occurs, additional fees may be required for attorney services related to your new status and potential restructuring fees from the debt counsellor.

2. Request for Transfer:

We will take the necessary steps to request a transfer from your current debt counsellor to ensure a seamless case handling process.

3. Affordability Assessment:

Our team will conduct an affordability assessment to determine your current financial status. This important step will only be determined once we have all the necessary information from our 4-in-1 comprehensive credit check.

4. Status Declaration:

If you are declared not over-indebted, we will move you to a "B" status if applicable and begin investigating the factors on your credit profile affecting your ability to apply for credit.

Important Reminders

During the entire process:

- Do Not Conduct Any Credit Checks: Please refrain from applying for any type of credit, as doing so may affect our services and your recovery journey.

Removing negative factors from your credit profile will significantly help increase your credit score, making it easier for you to apply for credit in the future. However, please note that any current arrears or new or recent judgments, admin orders, and enquiries cannot be removed.
